Suns out, buns out! With rates of infection lowering and the sunny weather encouraging people to exercise outdoors a lot more people have been seen in parks and other open public spaces. With temperatures in the 20s, we know many of you will need to go outside to breathe properly.
The team at QCS thought of ways to utilise your time outdoors whilst social distancing.
Personal Training sessions/ Exercise
Gyms might be closed but this hasn’t stopped personal trainers. Restrictions have been eased for those training individuals. For those who have been binge eating whilst indoors, now is the time to get fit for summer. Empty spaces and roads make it ideal to walk or hike and the sun will make you work out until you’re sweating buckets.
Picnics in the park/ garden
The weather now makes people crave cold food, fruits, salads- basically anything that keeps you cool and hydrated. The ease on restrictions means that you can visit one person from outside your household. This can make a great time to catch up with that friend you’ve been zooming or video calling for hours.
TikTok challenges
You may have seen viral challenges and videos being shared by family and friends. These include miming, sports challenges, accents, dance offs and duets. The sun being out is a perfect time to make some quarantine memories outdoors.
We know that the next month will be a difficult one to spend indoors with the heat, so please try to get some fresh air. As always stay safe and please adhere to the lockdown restrictions.
