Important Information

Requirements

Candidates must have six (6) months of full time protection officer experience (or equivalent) or one year of part time protection officer experience (or equivalent). Students enrolled into a recognized classroom training program may also qualify for this program.

Course and Certification Prerequisites

This certification is for supervisors and has the following requirements:

  • 3 years of service in a security, criminal justice, or similar capacity combined with appropriate licences
  • 5 GCSE passes at grade C or higher or equivalent
  • SIA License

A waiver of the above requirements can be granted with a letter outlining the circumstance for your request. The letter shall be from a first line supervisor or higher.
